The candle needs a smartphone to open the page: hers, or yours. The tap card in the box says: “No phone? Ask whoever visits next to tap it with you.” The page is also a normal web link you can open on any computer and show her.

No. Any recent iPhone or Android opens the page when it touches the ring on the label (or scans the QR code on the tap card). Nothing to install, nothing to sign in to. Only the family members who add things sign in, with a code we email them.

Only people with the link: the candle, the magnet, the tap card, or a link someone in the family shares. It isn’t listed anywhere, search engines can’t see it, and there are no ads or trackers on it.

The minute you order. Add the first photo tonight, send the family the link, and the page is already full when the box arrives.

The family page is free and stays up. You can keep adding to it after the candle is gone: the Hello Magnet opens the same page from the fridge.

Tap it when it’s not lit. The Hello tag sits on the glass under the label, and the glass gets warm. The ritual is tap, read, then light.

An 8 oz hand-poured candle with a wood wick that crackles, in an iridescent ivory glass jar with its own lid, engraved with their name. Two scents: Fresh Sheets (all year) and Fir & Juniper (the holiday one).

Order by Mon 14 Dec for Christmas with free shipping, or by Wed 16 Dec with Priority (+$9). With a watercolour, order a day earlier (by Sun 13 Dec, or Tue 15 Dec with Priority): the proof takes up to 24 hours. After that the page still goes live the moment you order, and the candle follows.
